[OPEN BOX] Thinkware U1000 4K UHD Dual-Channel Dash Cam

I bought the dash cam because they mentioned OBD will compatible most of the devices. I tesed on my camry 2018 and grand highlander 2024 and parking mode is not working. I told them device maybe defective and they told me to hardware it instead of give me the solution.

If you want to overpay and be stuck with a almost no features as advertised, this is the camera for you.

Literally buy any other brand. The apps for this are so ungodly bad it renders everything pretty much useless. Anything you want to view will take a decade. One of the apps you'll be unable to use as it refuses to register the camera.

All those great features you wanted? Nada.

Only thing worthwhile is the ODB power option, outside of that, again, spend your money on literally any other camera w Starvis 2. You will be much happier.

Worked great and was not to bad to install took me a few hours on Saturday to get it done. I wish this camera had a way to connect straight to my Wi-Fi instead of having to always force it to go to my Blutooth first then connect to my hotspot. The time it takes is a bit long for each step and seems to not to stay connected for a long time (might be a cell issue though), but not auto detecting and connecting to Hotspot with out help every time is a pain in the ......
