With its 2.1 MP Sony STARVIS sensor, the front camera of the BlackVue DR770X-2CH can capture 1080p Full HD @ 60 frames per second at a 139° view angle.

With twice the frame rate, the DR770X captures smoother videos of the road ahead even at high speeds, significantly reducing motion blur in your footage. This means you'll be able to capture fine details like license plates even if the car is speeding away.

New CPU and Software for Better Video

Thanks to the SigmaStar CPU and advanced image processing software, there is less motion blur and better highlight detail, resulting in a crisp and clear video.

Intelligent Parking Mode

Great Quality Camera

Great quality camera with a discrete design. Image quality is great even in low lighting conditions
Easy installation with the included socket connector and hardwiring kit. Got the OBD connector for an even simpler install
App connects quickly and seamlessly, much faster than my old DR650

Refurb at great price but….

My 750X died and these are expensive so I was happy when I found a refurb that is compatible with the rear camera (the 770X works with the 750X’s rear camera.). However the end cap popped off and the SD card port is bent so it’s really hard to get the card out. I’ll live with it now that it’s all installed and working.

Not a review of the product yet; review of the purchase

I've only had the dash cam for a week and it's too early to review the product. It's fine. If it doesn't record a collision in park mode or starts draining the battery despite advertising battery protection it won't be fine. But so far it hasn't. Too early to tell.

The review is of the purchase process since I received this email prompting me to post a review. This was one of 8 (EIGHT!) emails that I consider to be complete and utter spam that I received during my purchase of 1 product. I don't appreciate the spam. Other businesses manage to conduct day to day without spamming.

Otherwise price was competitive with, say amazon, and product arrived new with unbroken packaging seal.

Blackvue makes great products and their App is the best out there. The cloud feature is also superior to all other brands. However, when it came to the DR770X, the video quality felt subpar, which is really what matters most on a dashcam. If they had made the resolution 2k, this would have been perfect. I opted to return the DR770X and buy the DR970X which is 4k. I had to buy a $200 module to get cloud/ sim connectivity which is the only draw back.
