The A129 Plus Duo front camera is not compatible with the rear camera and connecting cables of previous VIOFO models.

The A129 Plus does not support using 1440p @ 60FPS and HDR simultaneously. Note that you will have to choose one or the other during setup.

Good cameras fast shipping g

Good cameras. Easy to install fast shipping. Only issue was the rear camera for my car kept falling off. I tried something else and so far so good but only time will tell if the rear cam falls off again. The static cling pieces are nice but I wish each came with more or perhaps were half size but additional like the sticky pads.

the video transfer is abysmally slow

Transfering videos to your phone is an absolute pain in the ass. It is ridiculously slow, difficult to connect, the app is a mega disaster. If possible i would have returned the product and gotten a different product if not for the wiring work that i did with the camera. Would not recommend to anyone else.

Quality Dashcam!!!

Quality, ease of use, and install are all fantastic! The camera hardwired to the vehicle perfectly with the BBMC hardwire kit making the install a breeze. Make sure you know how to properly tap a fuse though!

Stuggling with Reliability Issues

I have owned this dash cam for over 2 years now and have run into reliability issues twice. Note that I bought this as part of a signature bundle with an extra battery to enable parking mode as I street park in a city.

The first issue occurred just before the warranty period. During parking mode the dashcam would freeze up and corrupt the parking file it was recording to. It would not automatically start up when I started the car and required a manual restart every time. To Viofo's credit they provided wonderful warranty support and ended up replacing the unit after we worked through troubleshooting for about a month. It took some time to rule out a firmware or SD card issue.

The new unit had been working until a week ago. This time the dashcam freezes up while it is turning on after I start the car. I haven't had the chance to do a hard reset or re-install the latest firmware. I hope that either will get it to work again. It does scare me that this dashcam might stop working again without my knowledge and end up not providing footage when I most need it.

Outside the reliability issues I have really enjoyed this dashcam. It provides good quality video and in both driving and parking mode.
