The incident unfolded in the blink of an eye. A Toyota Avalon driver made a reckless move, cutting from the passing lane to the exit lane in an attempt to bypass traffic. At the same moment, an SUV in the travel lane began merging, forcing the Avalon driver to swerve. This evasive maneuver quickly turned disastrous as the Avalon struck the guardrail, ricocheted back into the highway, and collided with a Mazda SUV in the passing lane.

The collision pushed both vehicles into the median barrier, creating a cascade of debris that included bicycles falling from a rack attached to the Mazda. Fortunately, other drivers managed to avoid the scattered bikes, preventing further damage or injuries.
