Overview

A Simple, Plug-and-Play Connection with Full Parking Mode Support

The IROAD OBD-II Power Cable (IM-300) is designed to provide a simple, plug-and-play solution for seamlessly powering dash cams whether the vehicle is on or off. It automatically switches between Standard recording mode (when the vehicle is on) and Parking Mode (when the vehicle is off). This can be changed through the S and P switches on the cable, with S only allowing Standard power draw when the vehicle is on, and P allowing both Standard and Parking Mode functionality. Its user-friendly design eliminates the need for complex installations, allowing even those without technical expertise to easily connect their dash cams.

Improved Version, Wider Compatibility

The IM-300 is compatible with all vehicle types, including fuel, hybrid, and electric vehicles. It features an OBD connector switch that allows users to toggle between general and EV modes.
With the ability to support both 12V and 24V batteries, the IM-300 is even more versatile, allowing compatibility with larger vehicles such as commercial trucks and RVs.

With added Stop & Go support, the IM-300 ensures compatibility with Start-Stop engines, which other OBD cables can have issues with.

Worked, unlike Thinkware's

Unlike Thinkware's OBD cable, this one worked out of the box on my wife's 21 Ford Transit Connect, and had additional features. Wish I had purchased this one first - would have saved me 1.5 weeks of dealing with Thinkware's pointless support staff.

IROAD cable

Customer service was great. Got my questions answered and placed the order . Shipped quickly and got it installed in a matter of minutes. Heard it was better than thinkware obd11 one as I heard it may cause check engine light to come on. All good do far

Better than Thinkware brand cable

Tried two Thinkware OBD II cables on my 2020 Ford Mustang GT, and both did not work properly. The IRoad OBD II cable worked like a charm the moment it was plugged in. It’s no wonder why blackboxmycar packages their Thinkware cameras with this cable. Attention to detail matters!

Why Didn’t I Get This Earlier

Have installed a few Thinkware Dash Cams now for friends and this is by far the quickest and easiest way to connect all your power needs. Was as simple as “Plug n Walk Away”. Might do this all the time now.

No worries about wiring connections or insulation, or struggling with heat shrink, no searching for the right fuse circuits to tap into. No having to search for the bolt that the “ground” wire works well with. Just pure simple elegance and ease.
