Thinkware Hardwiring Kit may be purchased separately if hardwiring is preferred. A Spliced Thinkware Hardwire Kit is required if you are connecting to a dash cam battery pack, which will be provided by default if purchased bundled with the U300, but will otherwise need to be purchased seperately. You can also choose the IROAD OBD cable, which is fully compatible.
The Thinkware OBD-II cable has been updated to a new version, which has been found to be compatible with nearly all vehicles (except Tesla). EVs, Hybrids, and standard Gas vehicles are all compatible with the Thinkware OBD cable.
